A New Stage for a New Cultural Age

Full Circle Theatre is being created as a new international centre for live dramatic art.

It will bring together exceptional actors, writers, directors, filmmakers, visual artists, musicians and designers to create performances that move beyond the boundaries of the conventional stage.

In an intimate auditorium, the audience will surround the performers as entire cinematic worlds unfold around them.

The result will be theatre experienced not from a distance, but from within.

Four cinematic panels — a lit corridor, a swirling blue vortex, a lantern-lit gathering and a starfield — each with a lone silhouetted figure.

Where Art Forms Converge

Full Circle Theatre will exist at the meeting point of theatre, cinema, visual art, sound, design and contemporary technology.

Each production will begin with the artist and the story.

Technology will remain largely invisible, allowing a room to become a city, an ocean, a memory or another century without breaking the connection between actor and audience.

This is not theatre imitating cinema.
It is a new dramatic language, created live.
